Just Take A Stroll

The other day I had some free time from my kids. In those moments sometimes it’s unclear exactly how I would like to spend it. I decided I would go take a walk on the dock by the beach. It was super relaxing. I strolled, breath the fresh air and took in the beauty. To be in nature it made me feel like I was apart of something bigger than myself. For those few minutes I forgot about all about the things that were bothering me and was present, something I struggle to do. I was fully emersed in the moment and loved it. Imagine something that cost me nothing had such a profound effect on my mental health. Wherever you are and have the opportunity to take a stroll, walk or run at someplace that give you solace, take it. It could be a park, beach, or neighborhood trail, seize the opportunity to do so. Your mind, body and soul will thank you for it.
